Race-day crews work gates, patios, and grounds on a repeating summer schedule; the sprints are over in seconds, but the hospitality day runs for hours.
Ajax Convention Centre, 550 Beck Crescent. Six banquet rooms and a grand ballroom seating about 600 — the town's dedicated banquet address for galas, cultural weddings, and corporate dinners. Multiple simultaneous rooms mean rosters split by hall, not just by shift.
Ajax Community Centre, 75 Centennial Road. Four ice pads — three NHL-size, one Olympic — with stadium seating for 450-plus. Minor-hockey tournaments run multi-day, multi-pad weekends: registration, canteen support, and floor crews that reset between game blocks rather than striking once.

07The Fine Print
The licence travels with the crew, wherever on the axis it works.
In Ontario, the expensive shortcut is treating event staff as misclassified contractors instead of employees: back pay, penalties, and joint-liability exposure under Ontario's Employment Standards Act, 2000.
