SMS volume. Priced for what you actually send.

Send shift reminders, confirmations, and cancellation replacements by SMS. Priced per volume so agencies only pay for what they send — and usage typically drops as staff adopt the mobile app and receive push notifications instead.

What counts as a "branch"?

A branch is an operational unit — typically a city, region, or business line with its own roster, clients, and P&L. Every plan includes one branch. Additional branches are $99/mo each on Essentials and Pro. Scale negotiates branch and multi-location pricing per deal.

How does the service fee work?

The service fee applies to gross shift revenue invoiced through TempGuru. Essentials is 2%, Pro is 2.5%, Scale is negotiated in contract. Example: $10,000 in billed shifts on Pro = $250 service fee. The fee covers platform hosting, invoicing, AR, and the AI infrastructure that runs on every shift.

What's the annual discount?

About 15% off the monthly rate. Essentials drops from $299 to $254/mo, Pro drops from $499 to $424/mo. Billed once annually. Month-to-month is available on both plans with no commitment.

Can I upgrade or downgrade mid-plan?

Yes. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. No penalty fees either way.

What's the difference between gray-label and white-label Client Hub?

Gray-label (Pro) means the Client Hub runs on a TempGuru-hosted domain with your agency's logo, colors, and copy. TempGuru is still visible as the platform. White-label (Scale) means the portal runs on your own custom domain (e.g. clients.youragency.com), with your brand end-to-end and no TempGuru visible anywhere. Both tiers support unlimited clients.

What is the AI for Staffing playbook + cohort?

Included on Pro and Scale. The playbook is an operator-written field guide to running staffing on AI — SOPs for scheduling, backfill, timesheet review, reliability scoring, and client communication. The cohort is a peer group of TempGuru agencies that meets quarterly, with monthly office hours hosted by the TempGuru ops team. Playbook updates are delivered live. It's the piece most agencies tell us made the difference between buying software and actually running the AI playbook.

Does the AI auto-assign workers?

No. TempGuru uses AI to recommend the best-fit workers for every shift — ranked by availability, reliability, and staffing history. Your coordinator approves every assignment. It's decision support, not automation. The model makes the shortlist. A human makes the call.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Roster migration, client setup, and pay/bill rate configuration are included on every plan. Scale onboarding includes custom integration work and a dedicated CSM — that's part of the Scale contract, not an extra line item.

Does SMS count against anything?

No. SMS is a standalone add-on priced per volume — Starter at $29/mo for 2,500 messages, Growth at $79/mo for 10,000. Most agencies see SMS usage drop as workers adopt the mobile app and receive push notifications instead. Scale plans can negotiate a branded sender ID and custom caps.

What's the contract commitment?

Essentials and Pro are month-to-month by default, with a 15% annual-billing discount available. Scale runs on an annual contract with negotiated service fee, SLA, and onboarding terms.
