Adventist Health Arena, on the channel. Renamed from Stockton Arena in November 2023 — crew paperwork, parking passes, and GPS pins that still say the old name cause real day-of confusion. Configurations run roughly 10,000 to 12,000; the waterfront loading side is tight when the ballpark is also loading across the channel.

07The Fine Print
The state's labor code doesn't shrink with the market.
In California, the expensive shortcut is paying event staff as 1099 contractors: back taxes, penalties, and joint-employer liability under federal FLSA and California workers' compensation law (Labor Code Div. 4). California counts overtime by the day: time and a half past 8 hours worked, double time past 12, and overtime on the seventh straight day — Labor Code Section 510. Festival weekends are where Stockton feels it, because a gates-to-teardown day at the fairgrounds runs longer than 8 hours by design, so the roster is built to rotate before the clock does it for you.
