The High Country Conference Center, a newer 29,700-square-foot facility built for 10 to 1,000 guests, carries the corporate and meeting calendar. Downtown itself holds the 1917-era Orpheum Theater, still an active live-event venue. North of the city, Fort Tuthill County Park hosts the Pepsi Amphitheater and the Coconino County Fairgrounds, a genuinely separate outdoor-events footprint.
Elevation and season set the actual plan. Flagstaff runs opposite Phoenix's clock: summer, when the low desert is unbearable, is Flagstaff's peak, but winter here is a real season too, average snowfall around 108 inches, so any date from November into March needs its own weather hold, something Phoenix or Tucson event copy never has to write.
