Venue and logistics notes
Bartle Hall, downtown. Column-free floor big enough for 2,000-plus booths, 26 meeting rooms above it. Big shows run registration, badge-check, and booth-support crews in shifts, and the skywalk-connected hotels feed attendees in from all sides.
T-Mobile Center and KC Live!. An arena night here is really two events: the ticketed one inside (72 suites, 14 concession areas) and the free one across the street on the KC Live! block. Plan crowd flow for both or the corner between them plans it for you.
Truman Sports Complex. Arrowhead's 73,426 seats fill from lots that open hours early. Crews stage in waves — lots first, gates second, concourses last — and the eight-mile I-70 run from downtown is part of every call time.

In Missouri, the expensive shortcut is paying event staff as 1099 contractors: back taxes, penalties, and joint-employer liability under federal FLSA and Missouri Workers' Compensation Law (Chapter 287, RSMo).
