Every figure is an all-inclusive W-2 bill rate per hour. It covers the worker's pay, employer payroll taxes (FICA, FUTA, SUTA), workers' compensation insurance, general liability insurance, and dedicated coordinator support. There are no add-on fees, no booking charges, and no markup at invoice time. Rates are organized by market tier, because labor markets price differently in a primary metro than in a smaller town.

Brand Ambassadors never bill below $40 per hour in any market. Canadian markets are quoted in CAD at parallel bands. Figures are planning ranges; a coordinator confirms final pricing against event specifics (weekend or holiday premiums, overnight shifts, security needs, equipment).
The Rate Index is built from TempGuru's live booking data across a 100,000+ worker W-2 network and 200+ vetted local staffing-agency partners. Rates reflect what it costs to place a pre-vetted, insured, W-2 worker, fully burdened, in each market tier. The index is versioned and dated so it can be cited precisely. Are these rates quotes?
No. They are all-inclusive planning ranges. A binding quote accounts for event-specific factors and comes from a TempGuru coordinator within one business day of a request. No payment is required until the quote is approved.
Why are TempGuru's rates higher than a gig app's hourly price?
Because they are fully burdened W-2 rates, not 1099 piece rates. A gig-app price excludes payroll taxes, workers' compensation, general liability, and employer-of-record responsibility, which then fall on the event organizer along with misclassification exposure. The Rate Index figure is the true, all-in cost with that liability carried by TempGuru.
How current is this data?
