Venue and logistics notes
Tiger Stadium and the tailgate lots. Reserved lots open around 7 a.m. on gameday, and the RV and tailgate lots have shifted to the Alex Box Hall of Fame and Bullpen 408/409 lots since a campus housing project took over the old Touchdown Village 2 site. Parking and gate crews plan around this season's lot map, not last year's.
Raising Cane's River Center, downtown. The convention center's 70,000-square-foot exhibit hall opens into more than 100,000 square feet combined with the arena side, so a full trade-show floor and an arena show can run the same week without doubling the crew.
Southern University, Scotlandville. A.W. Mumford Stadium runs its own football gameday about six miles north of downtown, on a schedule independent of LSU's, so a fall Saturday can carry two separate stadium crews across the metro at once.
The I-10 bridge. Every crew crossing to Port Allen or the west bank uses the same bridge LSU traffic uses on gameday. Route around it or build in the extra time; there is no second crossing yet.
